        "rendered": "<p>The latest news from Gaillimh le Gaeilge<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"gradam\"><\/a><strong>Gradam Sheosaimh U\u00ed \u00d3gartaigh 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Galway Businesses and organisation were well represented at the press event in the Eyre Square Centre when, the Mayor of the City of Galway, Cllr. Pearce Flannery launched Gradam Sheosaimh U\u00ed \u00d3gartaigh for 2018. The Gradam<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gaillimhlegaei.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Lydon-Images_27-450x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4253\" \/> is now officially open for nominations until <strong>Monday the 23<sup>rd<\/sup> of February 2018. <\/strong>Click<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/gaillimhlegaei.wpenginepowered.com\/gradam-sheosaimh-ui-ogartaigh\/\">here<\/a> <\/strong>to enter online.<\/p>\n<p>At the event he also announced the sponsors of the Gradam for the year ahead:<\/p>\n<p>This year, the main media sponsor is once again the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.advertiser.ie\/galway\"><strong>Galway Advertiser<\/strong><\/a>. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tg4.ie\/\"><strong>TG4<\/strong><\/a> are also on board, as well as all of the category sponsors and they are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/galwaybayfm.ie\/\"><strong>Galway Bay FM <\/strong><\/a>who are sponsoring the Retail Category<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.failteireland.ie\/\"><strong>F\u00e1ilte Ireland <\/strong><\/a>who are sponsoring the Tourism and Hospitality Category<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.failteireland.ie\/\"><strong>Snap Galway <\/strong><\/a>who are sponsoring the Services Category<\/li>\n<li><span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nuigalway.ie\/acadamh\/\"><strong>Acadamh na hOllscola\u00edochta Gaeilge, Ollscoil na h\u00c9ireann, Gaillimh <\/strong><\/a>who are sponsoring the \u2018Other Companies\u2019 Category. They are also sponsoring a two year scholarship on the language acquisition course, \u2018An Diopl\u00f3ma sa Ghaeilge\u2019, a university qualification from NUI Galway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.udaras.ie\"><strong>\u00dadar\u00e1s Na Gaeltachta <\/strong><\/a>have renewed their sponsorship for the next three years and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.galwaychamber.com\"><strong>Galway Chamber <\/strong><\/a>are also providing sponsorship to the overall winner.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the Gradam has a <strong>new sponsor<\/strong> and they are; the award winning <strong>Social Media Agency, <a href=\"http:\/\/lorgmedia.ie\/\">Lorg Media.<\/a><\/strong> The total value of this sponsorship for Gradam 2018 is worth over \u20ac23,000.<\/p>\n<p>Gaillimh le Gaeilge is currently putting a schedule together and would love to meet with businesses and organisations who are interested in using the Irish language to create a bilingual business.
