Click <a href=\"https:\/\/gaillimhlegaei.wpenginepowered.com\/gradam-sheosaimh-ui-ogartaigh\/\">HERE<\/a> to enter online, free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>Gradam Sheosaimh U\u00ed \u00d3gartaigh is named in honour of the late Seosamh \u00d3 h\u00d3gartaigh, founding member and company secretary of Gaillimh le Gaeilge. It is organised by Gaillimh le Gaeilge in association with the Galway Advertiser and with support from the Galway Chamber.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its 16th year, the Gradam, recognises and celebrates companies and organisations in Galway city that use the Irish language in their day-to-day business and who contribute to Galway\u2019s status as Ireland\u2019s Bilingual City and European Capital of Culture 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Foireann Ghaillimh le Gaeilge is very busy putting a Gradam schedule together. Speaking on the Gradam process, Br\u00edd N\u00ed Chongh\u00f3ile, of Gaillimh le Gaeilge says:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very eager to meet with businesses and organisations who are interested in using the Irish language to create and develop a bilingual business. We have over two months to prepare as adjudication will take place in mid-April, so, a very busy and exciting time ahead for all &#8211; t\u00e1imid ag tn\u00fath go m\u00f3r leis!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gaillimhlegaei.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Lydon-Images_25-450x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4605\" \/>Avril Smith, Manager of the Eyre Square Centre, winners of Gradam 2017, speaking at a press event where the Mayor of the City of Galway launched the Gradam, encouraged any business or organisation to enter: \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Gradam undoubtedly helped us to raise the profile of the Eyre Square Centre, it generated massive publicity both locally and nationally. Participating in the Gradam is one of the best things that we have done.<strong>\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year, the total value of the prizes and benefits is over \u20ac23,000, generously sponsored by established and well-known Galway businesses and organisations. The main media sponsor of the Gradam is once again Galway\u2019s favourite and most widely read newspaper, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.advertiser.ie\/galway\"><strong>Galway Advertiser<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tg4.ie\">TG4<\/a>, an st\u00e1isi\u00fain teilif\u00edse a thugann \u2018S\u00fail Eile\u2019 ar an saol agus lonnaithe i gceartl\u00e1r na Gaeltachta <\/strong>have also renewed their sponsorship for the overall winner.<\/p>\n<p>The Category sponsors are as follows: <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.galwaybayfm.ie\">Galway Bay FM<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.failteireland.ie\/\">F\u00e1ilte Ireland<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snap.ie\/contact-a-centre\/snap-galway\/\">Snap Galway<\/a> agus <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nuigalway.ie\/acadamh\/\">Acadamh na hOllscola\u00edochta Gaeilge, Ollscoil na h\u00c9ireann, Gaillimh<\/a>. <\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.udaras.ie\"><strong>\u00dadar\u00e1s na Gaeltachta <\/strong><\/a>agus le taca\u00edocht speisialta \u00f3 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.galwaychamber.com\"><strong>Galway Chamber <\/strong><\/a>are also providing sponsorship to the overall winner. This year, the Gradam is delighted to welcome a\u00a0<strong>new sponsor<\/strong>\u00a0on board and they are; the award winning\u00a0<strong>Social Media Agency, <a href=\"http:\/\/lorgmedia.ie\/\">Lorg Media<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Gradam consists of four categories; <strong>Retail, Hospitality &amp; Tourism, Services and Other Companies<\/strong>.
