Businesses and organisations in Galway City can now enter Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh 26 for a chance to win prizes and benefits worth over €40,000, along with the prestigious title of Galway’s bilingual business of the year.
Organised by Gaillimh le Gaeilge, in partnership with The Galway Advertiser and TG4, and supported by Galway Chamber, the Gradam celebrates bilingual excellence in the everyday use of Irish in Galway – Ireland’s Bilingual City.

The Mayor of the City of Galway, Cllr Mike Cubbard, announced the sponsors of Gradam 26 at a photoshoot in the Galway City Museum. He was joined by the Cathaoirleach of Gaillimh le Gaeilge, Prof. John Breslin, and the sponsors who have championed the Gradam for over 20 years. Their ongoing commitment highlights the award’s prestige and reflects the surge in interest in the Irish language throughout Galway.
