Dialann 2018 – Advertising Opportunity

It’s hard to believe that Autumn is upon us again but the achievements of our Hurling teams will certainly lift our spirits for the Autumn, Gaillimh Abú!

Gaillimh le Gaeilge is busy working on Dialann Ghaillimh le Gaeilge 2018. Publication of the Dialann is funded solely by advertising.

We have a few spaces left and would love to see our Cairde feature in it! Please contact us on 091 568876 or email gearoidin@gleg.ie to reserve a space for your business/organsiation.

The prices remain the same as last year:

  • €500 – Full Page – 188mm x 239mm 
  • €300 – Half Page – 188mm x 116mm 
  • €200 – Quarter Page – 92mm  x 116mm

A list of Cairde Ghaillimh le Gaeilge is published in the Dialann every year as well as contact details and the name of any staff member that can  provide a service through Irish. The following details will be published about our Cairde:

Please note … If your contact details have changed over the past year, please forward your updated details to eolas@gleg.ie or please contact us on 091 568876 before the 2nd of October 2017. If you do not contact us, we will assume that we have your correct contact details.


An Ghaeilge sa Ghnó

Comhghairdeas leat a Uachtaráin!

Gaillimh le Gaeilge would like to congratulate Professor Ciarán ó hÓgartaigh on his appointment as President of National University of Ireland, Galway and we wish him every success in the future.

Ciarán is the Cathaoirleach of the Adjudication Panel of Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh, Galway’s bilingual business award, which Gaillimh le Gaeilge organises in association with the Galway Advertiser and with support from the Galway Chamber. The Gradam is named in honour of Ciarán’s father, Seosamh Ó hÓgartaigh, a founding member and company secretary of Gaillimh le Gaeilge.

September Lón Gnó

The September Lón Gnó Ghaillimh le Gaeilge  is taking place in  Dillisk on the Docks, Harbour Hotel, New Dock Road, Galway on Wednesday, 27th of September 2017 from 1.00p.m.-2.00p.m.

 

People are sometimes reluctant to attend the Lón Gnó because of their lack of Irish. Please don’t hesitate to attend because of this – the Lón Gnó is an informal event and we welcome people with all different levels of Irish. This gives you a great opportunity to improve your fluency in an informal and relaxing atmosphere.
