There will be a truly special event in Seanscoil Sailearna and Taibhdhearc this weekend. At the beginning of this month, the world premiere of ‘The West End’ was part of the Éigse an Spidéil program. This is a new, exciting and exciting show that has included music by Johnny Óg Connolly’s renowned music composer with some of the Máirtín Uí Dhireáin’s poems to create a song song. The renowned singer Liam Ó Maonlaí worked on the songs by Johnny, who was Liam and sung and played the piano with Johnny Young on the card.
The show has a great impact on the Éigse audience. As Dónall Ó Braonáin wrote on Tuairisc.ie, ‘… the result of the recitation was that the audience was standing up as a tribute to poetry, music, and interpretation.’ People will have the opportunity to hear the song chick again on Friday and this Saturday – Friday at the Sailearna Academy in Indreabhán and Saturday in the Taibhdhearc. The show will start at 8.00 by Johnny Óg, turning his own new music from his West album , with accompaniment from Patrick O’Dowell , and Willow West will be in the second half.
