Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh is moving on to the next stage in the process. The Moltóirí met for the first time this week and were tasked with the difficult decision to choose the finalists of Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh. 31 businesses and organisations across Galway, presented their bilingual work in their Pacáistí Eolais (Information Packs) to impress the moltóirí as they sought to take one step closer to becoming the next New Tribe of Galway.
On the judging panel this year are: Maeliosa Ó hÓgartaigh, son of the late Seosamh Ó hÓgartaigh, founding member and company secretary of Gaillimh le Gaeilge, whom the award is named after, Daithí Ó Gallchobhair, Manager of the Wild Atlantic Way, Fáilte Ireland and Colleen Baxter, Membership & Events Coordinator, Galway Chamber.
The finalists will be announced on the 7th of October in the Galway Advertiser, keep an eye out for it!
