The Minister of State for the Gaeltacht announces funding, to undertake a feasibility study for a new Irish Language Cultural Centre in Galway City.

Bord Stiúrtha Ghaillimh le Gaeilge welcome the announcement from Patrick O’Donovan TD Minister of State at the Department of the Gaeltacht that a grant of up to €39,459 will be provided to Gaillimh le Gaeilge to undertake a feasibility study for a new Irish Language Cultural Centre in Galway City.

St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church, Gaillimh announced as the winner of Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh 2023

GRADAM 2023 GEARRLIOSTA ANNOUNCED

 Fifteen Galway businesses and organizations have reached the Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh Gearrliosta for 2023. The Gradam, Galway’s own bilingual business award is organised by Gaillimh le Gaeilge (the organisation that promotes the Irish language in Galway city) in partnership with the Galway Advertiser, TG4 and Galway Chamber.
